Young and the Restless Daily Recap 1/8

Nate (Sean Dominic), Audra (Zuleyka Silver), and Amy (Valarie Pettiford) have traveled to Los Angeles to meet Damian (Nathan Owens) and deliver important news about his mother’s health and his paternity. While speaking with the private investigator, Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins), Nate uncovered a mystery surrounding his half-brother. Denise revealed a strange pattern: all the apartments Damian had lived in were managed by Danglars Properties, and his jobs were consistently affiliated with the same company, Monte Cristo Investments.

Nate recalled that in The Count of Monte Cristo, the villain was named Danglars, who wrongfully imprisoned the protagonist, only for him to later escape, amass wealth, and seek revenge. Amy confirmed that Damian had been a fan of the book growing up and even wore the number 34 on his basketball jersey—the same as the prison cell number in the novel. Nate became intrigued by these connections but knew he needed to meet Damian to get answers.

Back in Genoa City, Billy (Jason Thompson) continues to plot his revenge against Victor (Eric Braeden) by attempting to reclaim control of Chancellor. He’s made a deal with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to move forward with his plan, with the condition that Daniel (Michael Graziadei) plays a crucial role once they take control. However, as eager as Billy is to get started, he faces a tempting distraction: a business trip to Paris, which he plans to make more pleasurable with Sally (Courtney Hope).

When Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) crosses paths with Billy, she offers her own perspective on his quest for revenge, even though she knows he won’t like what she has to say.

Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) discusses strategies with Lily (Christel Khalil) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) in case Nate’s meeting with Damian takes an unexpected turn. For Lily, it might actually be worse if the meeting goes well and Nate decides to bring Damian back to Genoa City.
