Taye Diggs ("All American," "The Best Man") and Meagan Good ("Divorce in the Black," "Harlem") are set to star in and executive produce Lifetime’s new movie "Terry McMillan Presents: Forever," premiering Saturday, August 24, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. Charles Murray ("Outer Range," "Luke Cage") directs and executive produces.
Written by Bart Baker, "Terry McMillan Presents: Forever" follows Johnnie (Diggs) as he returns home after a tour of military service, only to be met with divorce papers. At a crossroads in his life, he unexpectedly falls for Carlie (Good), a local policewoman who pulled him over for speeding. To win her heart, he must first win over her three daughters and let go of old fears and regrets to understand the true meaning of family.
