Meanwhile, Tate confided in Sophia about his strained relationship with Holly, who was upset about Sophia’s pregnancy. Sophia apologized for mishandling the situation, and they discussed adoption as the best option. Though Sophia worried about her parents’ reaction, Tate reassured her of his support. Ultimately deciding not to do it Sophia also asked Tate to be present at the doctors visit for the pregnancy and he accepted.
Afterward, Tate tried to reach Holly, but she ignored his calls. At Titan, Xander and Philip bickered over sharing the CEO office and disagreed on a plan to target DiMera Enterprises. Philip refused to risk Stephanie’s safety, revealing their budding relationship, while Xander stormed off, frustrated by the day’s events.
Elsewhere, Holly discovered a bruised and secretive Doug in the park. She helped him get treatment at the Kiriakis mansion, where Sarah tended to his injuries. Holly pressed Doug for the truth about his reluctance to involve the police, but he remained evasive.
Later, Stephanie overheard Philip on the phone with Vivian, assuring her that Xander wouldn’t uncover the truth: Victor’s letter was a forgery.
